With the ilGoblin 590, SAB continues the evolution of the Goblin series. A modern design, high-quality carbon components and a construction focused on easy maintenance come together with a flexible power system designed for 6S or 12S setups.
One of the key features of the ilGoblin 590 is its completely redesigned frame. The 1.2 mm High-Density Compressed Carbon Frame, combined with the high-rigidity canopy and tail boom construction made from Compressed Carbon, provides the characteristic structure of this model.
SAB has also introduced some interesting solutions to the mechanics. The generously sized “Eternal” Gearbox System features an oversized one-way bearing located directly on the main shaft. The positioning of the motor and secondary shaft has also been designed to make replacing the motor belt particularly easy.
The servos are mounted vertically, allowing SAB to achieve a more aerodynamic helicopter design. The ilGoblin 590 also features a newly developed rotor head system.
The battery is conveniently installed using a rear-loading battery tray. Three mini servos are intended for the swashplate as standard, while three standard-size servos can also be used as an alternative.
With main rotor blades ranging from 550 to 590 mm, the ilGoblin 590 can be configured to suit your preferred setup. With 580 mm blades, the main rotor reaches a diameter of 1,242 mm.
SAB has designed the ilGoblin 590 for both 6S and 12S power configurations.
The SAB ilGoblin 590 combines the unmistakable Goblin construction with a modern, clean layout and clever technical solutions. A 590-class Goblin where SAB has not simply carried over existing concepts, but has rethought many areas of the mechanics.
