The Spirit RS3 is a modern flybarless and stabilization unit for demanding RC helicopter pilots. It combines a powerful Spirit 3 control unit with an integrated JETI DUPLEX 2.4 GHz telemetry receiver in a particularly compact and high-quality aluminum housing.

This combination makes the setup inside the model much cleaner: fewer external components, fewer cables and particularly direct integration into the JETI system. The Spirit RS3 is ideal for pilots looking for a powerful flybarless system with full JETI DUPLEX support, extensive telemetry and modern safety functions.

Spirit 3 Hardware with Integrated JETI DUPLEX Receiver

The Spirit RS3 combines two central components in one compact unit: the proven Spirit 3 flybarless hardware and a fully integrated JETI DUPLEX telemetry receiver. This eliminates the need for a separate receiver, simplifies installation and reduces wiring inside the model.

Especially for JETI pilots, the RS3 is a very elegant solution, as receiver, stabilization, telemetry and FBL functions are optimally combined.

Powerful ARM M7 Processor

The Spirit RS3 is equipped with a modern 32-bit ARM M7 processor with high computing power. This provides large performance reserves for complex calculations, precise stabilization, logging and future functions.

The fast signal processing ensures a very direct, clean and controlled flight feel – from calm scale flying to dynamic 3D flying.

Precise Sensors and High Vibration Resistance

The integrated 20-bit IMU motion sensor enables very accurate detection of model movements. In combination with the Spirit algorithms, this ensures excellent stabilization and high vibration resistance.

In addition, the Spirit RS3 features a precise pressure sensor for altitude measurement. This can be used for various functions, for example altitude hold or support of the automatic rescue function.

Extensive Telemetry and Diagnostic Functions

The Spirit RS3 offers extensive telemetry and model analysis options. Via JETI DUPLEX, sensor values and important system information can be used conveniently. In addition, the system supports many common ESC telemetry protocols.

With the integrated logging function, flight data and events can be recorded. This helps with troubleshooting, setup optimization and analysis of the model’s behavior.

Rescue Function, Governor and Bank Switching

In addition to classic flybarless stabilization, the Spirit RS3 offers numerous additional functions. These include a reliable rescue function, integrated bank switching and a governor for electric, nitro and gasoline helicopters.

This makes the RS3 a versatile and powerful solution for scale pilots and beginners as well as experienced 3D pilots.

Pressure Sensor

Yes, it is there and fully embedded. Unparalleled precision of 1 Pascal allow extremely precise altitude measurement . With the innovative algorithms and Sensor Fusion technology the precision goes further down. It can be utilized in a various of ways such as Altitude Hold or even Automatic Rescue system.

Industry-leading Motion Sensor

Motion Sensor with 20 bit precision was unimaginable few months ago. Everybody can taste it yourself now.

Superb stability through temperature gradient and Vibration immunity few times better than in any other unit. Antialiasing feature and Spirit algorithms makes the Rescue function Top of the line.

Redundant PowerTrain

With Spirit 2 we have developed separated power supplies for the unit itself and peripherals. Now with Spirit 3 design was enhanced to minimize voltage drops even for a peripherals!

Simplified Wiring

Our aim is simplicity. This mean you no longer need a special cables such as FrSky Integration cable or even JETI Integration cable. It can be replaced just with normal stright one. Same as for Spirit GT.

Gold-plated PCB

We care about reliability a lot. For big scale helicopters of 800 class or more extreme current amperage can develop. With Spirit 3 connectors all losses are minimized.

Extensions

Spirit 3 can be extended for basically unlimited servo outputs. If you will ever need to control 8 servos or more, with Spirit 3 it will be possible in very near future.

Servos with telemetry feature will be supported in the upcoming update too.
