Fuselage

The new fuselage is extremely modern and effective in terms of flight line presentation, it completes the features that make the Urukay Genesis a model ready for any challenge.

ROTOR HEAD

Ultra-light, 7075 aluminum alloy highly adjustable rotor head. The head allows for a very broad range of dampening setups. The dampers are composed of 3 O-rings (these define the rigidity) and a techno polymer damper (that defines the maximum possible movement of the spindle). Using different O-ring and dampers you can setup a different feeling of the model. The 35 mm use blade grips are optimized for F3C.

POWER TRAIN

Power train is fully enclosed in an aluminum case. Helical gears, Delrin swashplate guide, separate top bearing. We looked for the most innovative and avant-garde solutions.

CONICAL MAIN SHAFT-HUB

Conical coupling between main shaft and hub. This type of connection ensures excellent coaxially.

TAIL ROTOR

An ultra-light tail case with quick and easy tail fin replacement. Very simple, strong, reliable & durable. Large diameter tail drive pulleys allow for maximum efficiency in power transfer.

Kraken 700 S - Die Evolution nimmt kein Ende

Der Kraken 700 geht in die zweite Runde. Der Dauerbrenner von SAB kommt nun mit einem leichteren Hauptgetriebe aus der RAW Serie. Zusätzlich wurden völlig neue 700S CFK Hauptrotorblätter entwickelt, welche die Flugeigenschaften in jeder Hinsicht weiter verbessern und den Wirkungsgrad steigern. Goblin 700 RAW - the logical intersection of light weight and performance

The new Goblin 700 RAW builds on years of know-how of the SAB Goblin series, but in some respects breaks completely new ground, such as to realize an even lighter design and to get back in the air even cheaper in case of a crash, as well as to further reduce repair times.

Main rotor system

The Goblin 700 RAW uses the proven main rotor and tail rotor combination of the Kraken 700, giving the helicopter a wide usable speed range which makes it extremely interesting both as a 3D grenade and with moderate speed for beginner training. The Goblin RAW can be operated with all kinds of FBL systems, but the rotor system only shows its full flight dynamics with a high-quality FBL gyro such as MSH BRAIN 2. Complementing the holistic design of the system, the Heli Kit is delivered directly with the matching SAB main and tail rotor blades made of CFRP.


Gearbox

The gearbox has been designed as a closed, virtually maintenance-free unit, with the housing dome being removable at the top. This facilitates maintenance, saves weight and allows for an enormously compact form factor. The primary drive is a low-noise toothed belt.

The kit includes a 21z pulley for the drive motor. This provides a reduction ratio of 10.1:1.
Optional motor belt pulleys are available under Art. No. H0175-xx-S in different numbers of teeth for individual adaptation of the drive motor.


Tail puller with automatic belt tensioner

For the first time, a tail boom made of aluminum is used on a Goblin. This is made of a suitable AL alloy and has a diameter of 30mm. Due to the appropriate choice of material and generous dimensioning, the negative aspects of the aluminum tail boom could be largely approximated to the advantages of the CFRP Mono Boom, which is otherwise obligatory for SAB.
The only factor that had to be taken into account in the design was the thermal expansion of an AL alloy, even though this is a minor factor. To keep the rear belt tension constant under all temperature ranges, the Goblin 700 RAW is equipped with a belt tensioner as standard.

Innovative battery insertion

The cab fairing is firmly attached to the chassis and thus constitutes a load-bearing part of the structure. This has enabled the weight to be significantly reduced. The model has a reclosable opening at the front, allowing the drive battery to be conveniently inserted. The H1102-S battery insertion plates are used on the RAW. Thus all owners of a Goblin Kraken 700 can continue to use the battery packs.
