The airframe of M1 V3 PRO has been completely re-engineered from the ground up to optimize weight wherever possible while retaining incredible durability and flight performance. The frame structure now closely follows the M2 V3 helicopter line, which has proven to be extremely light yet virtually bullet-proof in crashes. A central main plate forms the backbone of the frame and holds the motor, servo rack, new and improved DS2045LW V2 servos, and tail boom, while two sturdy carbon panels provide mounting points for the skids, battery, and OFS3+ flight controller. The frame features reinforcement plates in the rear, much like its bigger brothers, redirecting forces in a crash to increase the likelihood of core-components surviving. All screws on M1 V3 PRO have been carefully chosen and exclusively feature 1.3mm and 1.5mm hex heads. No more special tools required, no compromises, you only need two standard size hex drivers to service the entire helicopter.

Precision at your fingertips
With a new bearing-enhanced rotor system.

As a first in its size class, M1 V3 PRO has a main rotor head built with axial bearings. This measure extends the service life of the blade grip bearings greatly, while offering smoother, more precise control of your blade angles, and therefore, rotor thrust and cyclic torques. Together with a new, more agile rotor geometry, as well as the new APEX 125 rotor blades, this new, black anodized and bead blasted rotor head is ready to propel and guide the M1 V3 PRO through even the hardest 3D flights. At the same time, it allows for incredibly precise and fine control at lower RPMs. Featuring a new rotor geometry optimized for OFS3, M1 V3 PRO allows for more control power than ever before.

High-Efficiency Brushless Motor

The all-new R23X-2 main motor is designed to handle sudden high loads in 3D flying. It offers an exceptional power-to-weight ratio and efficiency, delivering explosive thrust while extending flight time during aggressive maneuvers.

Ultra-Lightweight Tail System

A super-light tail comprising a round carbon tube with a minimalist motor mount and color-matched, double-sided printed tail fin provides top-level durability.

Optimized R11X-2 motor and keyed APEX27 tail propeller deliver stronger thrust with lower noise levels, which together with OFS3+’s 2nd generation TALY, surpass collective-pitch level tail control.
The tail boom is now made from a hollow carbon fiber tube, increasing durability and reducing weight. The minimalist tail motor mount guarantees crisp and fast yaw response, while serving as a heat-sink for the new R11X-2 tail motor. This motor drives the new APEX 27 tail propeller, which substantially increases tail rotor performance, while reducing noise and improving visibility compared to the previous M1 tail propeller. The propeller hub and tail motor shaft are now rotationally and directionally keyed, so that the risks of tail propeller slippage and reverse-installation are eliminated. The look is finished off by a double-sided printed carbon fiber tail fin, color-matched to the canopy.

All of this is powered by our new 2S 400mAh 50C LiHV battery, equipped with a brand-new, high power, gold plated GY15 3-pin connector, purpose-built for high-power applications like 3D helicopter flight. Featuring both a smaller footprint and a higher current rating than the previous JST-XH connector, it is built to last and will guarantee a low-resistance connection across countless mating cycles and flights. Connectors are available separately, and a charging cable is included in the box.

The M2 V3's flybarless system features switchable horizontal stabilization, which is especially beneficial for beginners.

Extensive simulations have allowed us to optimize every part of M2 V3 PRO for minimum weight, while retaining the durability pilots worldwide have come to love and appreciate from previous M2 generations. With our 3S 750mAh 60C battery, M2 V3 PRO weighs only 320 g, which is approximately 25 g lighter than the M2 EVO MK2! Together with other optimizations to the unique power system of this model, flight times of the M2 V3 PRO increase by up to 10% for basic hovering, 20% for aerobatics and up to 25% in hard 3D!

For the first time in a helicopter of this size, we are proud to offer beautiful, black anodized aluminum parts on the M2 V3 PRO! This brings this airframe right in line with M4, M5, M6 and M7 for a unified, clean look in your fleet.

A new, shorter and sleeker rotor head with a steeper, more powerful geometry and new dampers allows for larger pitch angles both collective and cyclic, as well as combined pitch angles. Resulting in higher achievable cyclic rates, larger cyclic torques and much better control authority even at high speed and high collective, this makes M2 V3 PRO more maneuverable than any other heli in its size class! For the hardest flying styles, optional POM dampers are available.

The new APEX 190 rotor blades on the M2 V3 PRO have been carefully optimized in their flapwise stiffness and weight, which makes them more agile, quieter and more efficient, while retaining the same rock-solid stability known from the M2 EVO MK2. Together with the new main rotor geometry, these blades allow for both much higher cyclic rates and even higher stability margins in high-speed flight.

An extremely rigid yet light carbon fiber tail tube, together with a newly designed, lighter tail motor, take the yaw performance of the M2 V3 PRO to new extremes: The main and tail motors have to work less to accelerate the tail, improving tail response and control authority, while at the same time reducing noise and power consumption. Together with OFS3, this is the best-performing micro helicopter tail ever created. The M2 V3 PRO comes with an APEX 45 tail propeller, beautifully matching the new APEX main rotor blades.

The main frame of the M2 V3 PRO now follows the design philosophy of other OMPHOBBY helicopters with a central main plate. This creates an extremely compact airframe core, holding both the main motor and servo rack, which neatly arranges the servos around the main shaft. Thanks to this, M2 V3 PRO makes accessing servo arms and wiring easier than ever! An upgraded battery clamping system distributes the pressure better across the cells and makes battery swaps a breeze.

M2 V3 PRO uses our very best electronics for unparalleled flight performance. DS2710MG full metal case servos improve heat dissipation and servo longevity. The weight optimized, custom designed R40X-3 and R13X-3 direct drive motors provide outstanding power for even the hardest 3D flying styles, while remaining nicely cool. OFS3 delivers the excellent performance known and beloved by pilots around the world. While the M2 EVO MK2 served as a technology demonstrator for the next generation of micro heli flight control, OFS3 can now unleash its performance in this new, more capable airframe to the fullest!

In late 2023, OMPHOBBY redefined the 700 game with the introduction of the M7. A helicopter that, from the get go, has proven to be virtually bullet proof, indestructible in the air, and to this day, delivers a flight performance that could immediately compete at the very top, delivering world-class performance. With its incredible presence in the air, superior flight characteristics, ultra-quiet drivetrain, extremely easy maintenance, and tool-free adjustable belt drive, M7 has quickly become the favorite helicopter of its class for countless pilots around the world.

Now, two years later, we’re back to refine the M7 into its ultimate competition form, upgraded with everything we have learned in helicopter development to this point: This is M7R, one helicopter to rule them all!

Weight Optimization
M7R’s primary focus lies in zero-compromise weight optimization. While the core structure remains an M7 at heart, many parts have been thoroughly optimized and refined. Countless hours of careful FEA simulation have allowed us to shave 200 grams off the M7R airframe compared to M7, without compromising durability and performance in flight. This substantial leap makes M7R one of the lightest, lowest-inertia, fully-fledged 700 class helicopters on the market, ready to take anything you could throw at it in even the toughest competition. Engineered for Champions!

Rotor Systems
At the heart of every RC helicopter lie its rotor systems. Since its release, the M7 has set the benchmark with one of the cleanest, most precise, yet remarkably expansive and powerful flight performances on the market, and M7R will build on this achievement further. M7R will come with the same, great 32mm main rotor geometry that M7 used - retaining the same direct, linear and crisp control feel customers around the globe have come to love, all in a much sleeker and more elegant rotor head.

M7R will be equipped with POM rotor head inserts by default, which allow for extraordinarily crisp control response and stability from down low at 1100 RPM, all the way up to 2400 RPM! For those who can’t ever have enough control power, an optional 1:1 rotor geometry will be available at a later time.

Tail Assembly
No single main rotor is complete without an exceptional tail, which the M7 has delivered from day one. From its inception, the M7 tail assembly and belt drive have proven to be flawless and virtually indestructible in flight. M7R will proudly carry this legacy forward by retaining the M7’s trusted tail assembly, with only a few, yet notable upgrades:

M7R’s tail rotor dampers are now made from a new, vastly more durable material, which not only greatly extends their service-life, but also increases tail control precision and response further by guiding the tail rotor disk more tightly.
Additionally, the tail fin and tail boom are now silk screen printed, removing the need for the user to apply stickers to them.
Transmission System
The M7R transmission is built around our new, heavy-duty 122t main gear and matching 13t pinion, creating a bullet-proof drivetrain, ready for even the biggest motors and most demanding competition flights. Available pinions range from 11t to 15t, so you can always find the optimal gear ratio for your specific power system. The tail rotor ratio remains the proven 5:1, using the same 8mm belt and pulleys, tensioned by our helically driven belt tensioner. Where others lose teeth or require tools to adjust, M7R keeps going strong!

Lower Frame & Battery Design
A new lower frame, utilizing chamfered carbon panels and precision-machined aluminium battery rails, guarantees smooth battery insertion and removal every time. The change to flat plates opens up even more space for the biggest and heaviest batteries out there, as demanded by competition pilots of modern times. While this measure not only reduces the weight of the lower frame further compared to the previously used, molded carbon panels, it also simplifies maintenance and reduces repair cost for the user in the event of a rapid unscheduled disassembly.

For those who prefer to retain the original look, the M7’s molded lower frame panels can still be adapted to M7R with only minimal modification, as all mounting points remain the same.

Tail Boom Clamping System
The M7R’s revised tail boom clamping system keeps both the upper and lower frames perfectly aligned, while delivering maximum tail boom clamping force in any situation, even at the absolute edge of the flight envelope. The design now allows for removal of the entire lower frame while keeping the tail boom clamped, and likewise, the tail boom can now easily be removed without loosening a single screw on the lower frame.

Premium Materials
For our new flagship helicopter, we take pride in using only the most excellent materials. All highly loaded or rotating aluminum parts will be precision-machined from the same, extremely durable 7075 alloy we used on M7, while all remaining aluminium parts will continue to be made from high-quality 6061 T6 alloy. These choices guarantee exceptional durability and longevity in flight, in crashes and during maintenance.

Canopy Design
M7R brings our sleeker, lighter and more aerodynamic, canopy designs to the 700 class, including their superior flexibility and a much more durable paint coat. This new canopy follows the design philosophy of all modern OMPHOBBY canopies and effectively reduces the helicopter’s drag, allowing it to reach higher top speeds, and simplifies battery changes greatly, as it is much easier to remove and install.

Parts Compatibility
While M7R has been optimized to the max, the airframe still retains all key component interfaces, ensuring exceptional parts compatibility and upgradeability with the original M7. This allows you to upgrade an M7 to M7R gradually, and in a pinch, many M7 components will still fit and function on the M7R.

Flight Performance
Flying the M7R, you will immediately notice the reduced weight and inertia of the model compared to the M7. Collective pitch moves the helicopter powerfully, yet with amazing precision and ease. Cyclic commands are executed more quickly, more precisely, more quietly, faster, and almost completely effortlessly, thanks to the reduced moments of inertia. Directional stability, resulting from requiring less main rotor blade angle to maneuver, is rock solid, and tail control is razor-sharp and ultra-precise.

The main rotor design found on these two helicopters is a direct derivative of the M7 rotor design. Long control throws, integrated and retained rotor blade washers, extremely durable and beefy 5mm ball joints, and two damping options, are all part of a large diameter rotor head mounted on a 12mm shaft. Combined, these attributes provide unparalleled precision and control that make M5 and M6 fly every bit as amazing and rock solid as M7, while being incredibly agile in the air!

For anti-torque and yaw control, M5 and M6 inherit the same style of one-piece tail rotor housing, slop-free bell crank mechanism and extremely robust tail rotor design used on M7, downsized to fit an ultralight 28mm carbon fiber tail boom, while retaining the same 6mm tail shaft and 5mm spindle shaft diameters. The 6mm wide tail drive belt can conveniently be adjusted on-the-fly, using the same helically driven belt tensioner system found on M7.

With a wide range of pinions ranging from 11 to 15 teeth, and two incredibly durable, 15mm tall, FEA optimized main gear options (M6: 121), you are guaranteed to find the perfect gear ratio for your personal setup. The motor mount now sits on rails on the main plate, both increasing rigidity of the assembly and guaranteeing parallel shafts every time. The airframe can accept any battery configuration into a spacious 58 x 70 x 300 mm battery bay. Since both M5 and M6 use the same basic frame structure, M5 battery trays fit M6 without modification, and vice versa, and both are latched by the same, convenient twist-lock system derived from M7.

Main rotor blade grip, Main rotor hub, Swashplate outer ring, Main plate are CNC machined from forged aluminum alloy, while the remaining components are made from 7075 aluminum alloy via CNC processing, ensuring a lightweight yet robust structure. Introducing OMPHOBBY M4 MAX!

The M4 MAX is a completely different approach to the tried and true M4 airframe in a sleek new design. Swinging 420mm blades, the MAX brings a much lower disk loading to the table, enabling smoother and more dynamic flying styles with a much floatier feeling. The M4 MAX does in no way replace the regular M4, but rather ventures into new and exciting flight envelopes.
Three new canopies with tri-colored paint designs, combined with white skids and a large carbon tail boom, give the M4 MAX excellent visibility in all conditions. With M4 MAX, you can easily swap canopies without changing any frame parts, too!
The new tail boom and tail case enable usage of a wider belt to appropriately power the tail, which performs just as amazingly well as the M4's. Dynamic weights reduce yaw servo loads even further.
All this is driven by the over 30% larger, more powerful SUNNYSKY R8110 185KV main motor, which is able to produce enormous torque at both low and high RPMs. You will never run out of motor power with the M4 MAX!
Together with the OMPHOBBY 6S 2000mAh 70C batteries, which provide 3 minutes of 3D flying and up to 15 minutes of sports flying, the all-up weight of the M4 MAX will be around 1500g.
