Platinum Pro 120A V5 3-8S LiPo 10A BEC

The Platinum V5 120A is small, powerful and, like the other ESC in the Platinum V5 series, it is characterized by particularly efficient heat dissipation. As a flight controller, it feels right at home in electronic helicopters of size 420-520. But of course, due to its specifications, it can also be used in medium-sized fixed-wing aircrafts.

The Platinum 120A V5 is equipped with a switchable BEC that can be set in the range 5 to 12 volts. In addition, the BEC also has a new anti-reverse circuit that can be used in parallel with external batteries, thus offering double protection. Compared to previous controller versions, the RPM accuracy algorithm also makes the Platinum 150A more powerful and reliable. 1S DC-DC BOOSTER is a DC-DC power booster module which can draw power from the 1S Lipo battery then boosts it to the voltage (6V) suits the receiver & servo and provides the continuous output current up to 3Amp.
1S DC-DC BOOSTER is mainly applied in 1/12th scale RC vehicles.
The 1/12th scale car usually uses 1S Lipo battery, and BEC in ordinary speed controller is step-down. In that case, the BEC output voltage will be lower than 4.2V that cannot meet the power demand of the receiver & servo. Therefore, 1/12th scale car has to run with purpose-built 1S ESC with the built-in DC-DC booster or external receiver battery connected if the speed controller hasn’t the built-in DC-DC booster. With the update of the Platinum ESC v4/4.1/5 from Hobbywing, Mikado's remote control systems are now also supported.

This cable is used to connect a VBar NEO with the corresponding controller.

Thanks to the additionally installed socket, the fan connection is still available.
