This version of the Grob 120 TP (TP stands for turbo-prop) was built and finished in this scheme by Grob as a jet trainer with digital cockpit for the Argentine airforce. The trainer is stressed for aerobatics to +6 / -4g, and its potent Rolls-Royce turbo-prop engine and five-blade constant-speed propeller provide the basis for comprehensive jet pilot training.
The model
Like the full-size and our large Grob G120TP 1700 mm ARF, the extremely speedy nano-size model is fully aerobatic, while its broad speed range also makes it a superb model for flying in realistic scale fashion. To expand the model's aerobatic repertoire an additional servo can be installed to provide a working rudder. The model is based on a one-piece, painted foam moulding incorporating fuselage and wings. The wing features a carbon fibre spar for additional strength, making it capable of withstanding extreme loads in racing and aerobatic flying.
