The FX-20 system expands the range of robbe Futaba tray-mounted transmitters at the bottom end, and represents a low-cost entry point into 2.4 GHz technology.

  • The FASST system is a Spread Spectrum System with Frequency Hopping (FHSS). For this reason it is approved for transmitting at 100 mW EIRP power, offering adequate reserves even for large-scale model aircraft and jets.
  • No same channel interference, virtual immunity to interference, resistance to general electronic interference.
  • Focal point is the high-resolution 128 x 64 dot graphic display which is backlit for good legibility.
  • The unit's clean, elegant lines are made possible by the new Cap-Touch system. Contactless sensors acting as the 3D hotkey allow a smooth and sealed surface without any protruding controls.
  • Graphic-based user interface for simple programming. The major part of the proven menu structure and user interface is taken from the FX30 system, as is the modern and practical case design.
  • The software is available in eight languages: German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Czech, Russian and Dutch.
  • The ballraced stick units are designed for Universal mode. The user can easily convert the stick mode from "throttle right" to "throttle left".
  • The FX-20 transmitter features new rotary stick trims. This type of trim combines the advantages of traditional analogue trims with those of digital trims. Just one movement sets and automatically stores the direction and magnitude of the trim value.
  • The linear sliders are very practical in use for controlling supplementary functions such as gyros, flaps and speed controllers.
  • The system provides a total of 10 (14) channels (8 (12) proportional and 2 switched channels), with a freely variable channel sequence.
  • The transmitter is supplied fully equipped, with two analogue rotary controls, two linear sliders and six switches.
  • As with all robbe tray-mounted transmitters this system is designed for the installation of stick switches. The internal electrical connections are present as standard.
  • All the physical controls can be used as transmitter controls. The sequence of these controls is freely selectable, as is the servo output sequence.
  • The comprehensive software also provides all the essential functions for sophisticated power models, gliders and helicopters.
  • Ample freely programmable mixers, with the option of 5-point curves, capable of coping with complex mixed functions.
  • Integral Trainer system with individual function transfer. Freely configurable Trainer channel assignments.
  • At any time the system software can be updated to the latest state by the user himself using the SD card.
  • 20 internal model memories, with infinite expansion using SD cards - 3862 models per 2 GB.

These mixer menus are pre-programmed to suit the model type, and contain all the essential mixer functions as standard.

Helicopter functions
The mixer menus for helicopters are mainly different by use of swash plate controls. All the classic linkage types are included as standard: H1, H2, HR3, HN3, H4 and the new H3 90° and H3 140°
A special feature is the new form of variable pushrod travel compensation for the H3 and H4 types. This function eliminates a common problem found with unequal travels, which can result in servo damage can occur in the long term, when travels are fairly large or asymmetrical. The speed of the pitch-axis (elevator) function can also be adjusted, in order to avoid the run-time differences with the HR3 / HN3 120° swashplate linkage.
