CORE 700 - The new high end helicopter of Karcher Products

In the design - by the way, it's done completely in Germany - of the CORE 700 you will find some new details, never seen in other models. Here we want to give you a first overview about it.

Ball Beared Spindle Rotor Head
The 10 mm spindle of the CORE is mounted in the head block with four bearings. This makes it turn inside the headblock at cyclic control inputs, so the head does not have the friction of the thrust bearings at cyclic inputs. This gives much faster response and less current of the swashplate servos. For dampening the outer headblock can flap on an inner headblock. The dampening rubbers are mounted inside the bottom of the headblock on the main shaft. So all flapping forces strike direct into the shaft.

In Shaft Control Slider Tail Rotor
The tail shaft of the CORE has an outer diameter of 8 mm. Its length outside of the bearing is shorter than the bearing distance, what makes it unsusceptible to resonances at high head speeds. The shaft is hollow and inside of it a brass control slider transfers the control movements from the left side of the tail gear case to the blade control brigde on the right.
The tail control rod has a diameter of 2 mm and is mounted inside of the 40 x 30 mm aluminium tail boom with three supports.

Encapsulated Gear Drive
The main gear of the CORE has two stages. First stage with a 15 mm belt, second with a 14 mm machined helical gear. The secondary gear shaft is placed behind the main gear and takes the tail pully on its top. With this longer main belt more teeth can hook up to the pullies at one time. This reduces the needed belt tension, that can be adjusted with a M4 lock nut. The main gear is encapsulated in the main plate of the model, what keeps dust away from it and makes the whole drive system absolutely rigid.

Servo Mounted Swash Bracket
The CORE's CCPM 120 swash plate is direct driven. So every known stabilizer electronic will work with it. A counter beared shaft on the rear servo with a lever on it works as swash plate bracket.

Battery Quick Release System with CG Adjustment
The CORE 700 comes with a quick release system for the battery with the possibility to adjust the battery position separately at every tray. So the cg will fit with all of your batteries - doesn't matter if lightweight or heavy.

Easy RC Mounting
The RC components are mounted in short distance to each other, so you can use short cables to connect them.

Easy Tail Boom Change
To remove the boom you just open two screws, lift the tail belt and drop the ball joint. Done in two minutes.

Useful setup tool included
Every kit of the CORE 700 comes with our useful setup tool. It's not just a swashplate leverler, it's also a gauge for the pushrods at swashplate and rotor head.
